# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The white beans make it incredibly creamy without needing heavy cream or a roux
  • It comes together in under 10 minutes of prep but tastes like it simmered all day
  • Leftovers reheat beautifully for lunch the next day
02 -
  • Don't skip mashing the beans, it creates the creamy texture that makes this dip so addictive
  • The dip will look jiggly when it first comes out of the oven but sets as it cools slightly
  • Serve within 15 minutes of baking for the optimal melted cheese experience
03 -
  • Grate your own cheese from blocks for the smoothest melting, pre-shredded cheese has anti-caking agents that can make it grainy
  • If the dip seems too thick after baking, stir in a splash of warm milk to reach your desired consistency
